              Salsabil Chellali is the Tunisia director at Human Rights Watch, in charge of the research for Tunisia in the Middle East and North Africa division. Before joining Human Rights Watch, she worked as a journalist covering North Africa at the Agence France Presse (AFP) news agency office in Tunis, and previously as a freelance journalist in Algeria, Morocco, and France.
She also worked in communications in Cameroon, first at the chancellery of the French Embassy and then at the UN Resident Coordinator Office. Salsabil holds a master’s degree in political science and journalism and speaks French, Arabic, English, and Spanish.
