Matthew Reysio-Cruz
Finberg Fellow, Environment and Human Rights
Matthew is the 2023-2024 Finberg Fellow in the Environment and Human Rights Division and is based in New York. He was previously an investigative journalist in Manila for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the country’s top newspaper. While there, he reported on social and economic injustices, education, and former President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs. He holds a Master’s in International Affairs and a Master’s in Investigative Journalism from Columbia University.
